Experience the knowledge of tomorrow, today -- to this aim, university and non-university research institutions in Science City Itzling are developing new communication formats.  The open MINT laboratories let children and young people see how exciting natural sciences and technology can be and draw attention to the achievements of the Itzling-based institutions.

The cross-disciplinary networking enables a wide range of offers that brings pupils ---and anyone else who is interested--- closer to the fields of mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, and technology (MINT). This pilot project from the Faculty of Natural Sciences at the University of Salzburg will receive a start-up grant of € 35,000. Long term, the initiative should also receive support from other agencies so that an annual programme can be offered in the future.
