The Catalyst Coding contest (CCC) will take place this year on Friday the 16th of November 2018, at the University of Salzburg's Department of Computer Science in the Techno-Z. The CCC is an international programming competition. In April 2018  there were over 3000 participants - a record!

The participants are given a programming task, which are tiered by difficulty. They then have 4 hours and whoever finishes the most levels by the end, wins the competition. Aside from that, each participant will get the ability to measure themselves against all the other programming participants.
