Our department is now ranked in a worldwide ranking system for institutes of computer science -- "CS Rankings".
Unlike some rankings, this one is based on a strict metric: only the publications in prestigious conferences count.
Based on the fields in which the members of our institute have been researching and publishing in for 13 years, we are ranked 22nd in Europe.
With a count of 2,3, we are now in the same group as the IT University of Copenhagen (2,3), the TU Delft (2,2), the University of Bristol (2,2) and the TU Eindhoven (2,2).
The top field in Europe is lead by ETH Zurich, followed by the EPFL, and the Max Planck Institute for Computer Science.
